International Conference on Building Information Modelling (BIM), Digital Fabrication & Computational Simulation/Visualization

(BDC 2016) - 02/09/2019

The 5th NZAAR International Event Series on Natural and Built Environment, Cities, Sustainability and Advanced Engineering

Welcome to the official webpage of the International Conference on Building Information Modelling (BIM), Digital Fabrication & Computational Simulation/Visualization (BDC 2019). This conference will be held on 02 September 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. BDC 2019 will be organised by the New Zealand Academy of Applied Research Limited (NZAAR).

BDC 2019 will provide a unique international platform for sharing new knowledge and academic findings of the recent scholarly studies and practical experiences in the broad spectrum of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Digital Fabrication & Computational Simulation/Visualization. The main target of the conference is to efficiently engage academic researchers and industry practitioners towards sharing viewpoints and debating on the cutting edge research implications leading to effective and global knowledge contributions. All registered and accepted extended abstracts/full papers will be published in the respective conference proceedings.

*All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

The National Library of New Zealand collects sample copies of each series of proceedings to preserve and make them available to all New Zealanders.

About Kuala Lumpur

The City of Kuala Lumpur, popularly named KL, has the last decade become one of the most vital cities in Asia. KL is Malaysia’s sultry capital packed with historic monuments, steel-clad skyscrapers, lush parks, mega-sized shopping malls, bustling street markets and trendy nightspots. Also an essential part of the vibrant mix are incense-wreathed, colourfully adorned mosques and temples of the country’s Malay, Chinese and Indian communities. A reverence for these ancient cultures is balanced with a drive to be plugged into the contemporary world, as evidenced by an exciting contemporary art and design scene and a buzzing digital economy.
